Fast boats, convenient departures
Why take a slow boat when you can be there so much quicker?
The best dive sites around Koh Phangan are located in the middle of the ocean. That means a boat ride to get there.
Now, there are several ways of doing that...
using a slow boat
- first, get up really early for a bumpy (and we mean bumpy...) taxi ride to the harbour
- then, sit on the boat for hours
- and then the taxi back
Sounds attractive? No, not to us either.
At Tropical Dive Club, we understand that diving should be as much fun as possible. After all, you're on holiday, and we're located in a little piece of paradise.
That's why our boats leave right from the beach, at a very holiday-friendly time.
There's plenty of room on this charming but fast boat, with lots of room for equipment and seating for divers and snorkelers in the shade or in the sun
(don't forget that suntan lotion, though... you wouldn't be the first to feel the full
impact of the Thai sun)
There are some dive-sites that really are a long way out. So for these, or for special trips like the Three Pinnacle Trip (a visit to three separate spectacular underwater pinnacles) we'll use a very fast catamaran speedboat.
